VolunteersThe FaithCentre strives to provide both material relief and solace to our neighbors facing unexpected emergencies or personal crises. Your contributions and volunteerism are instrumental in helping us assist those in need within our local community.

In 2010 alone, the FaithCentre:

  • Provided monthly food to over 550 area residents
  • Distributed Holiday meal baskets to 1064 local people
  • Hosted the Bellefonte Area Toys for Tots distribution
  • Provided material and financial support to those displaced by fire and other disasters
  • Assisted 94 people facing utility termination or eviction
  • Provided free food to the Bellefonte Youth Center
  • Offered free bread and pastries each weekday
  • Hosted a free coffee shop for those seeking a snack or companionship
  • Hosted a weekly Bible Study and a Women’s Prayer and Praise Fellowship
  • Provided free clothing to hundreds of local low income families
  • Offered advocacy and referral services to those navigating the social service system
  • Served as the largest distributor of free dog and cat food in Centre County
